About: Crayford Town Surgery

Sent email twice requesting my own medical details and access to my records online so I don't have to disturb or waste the surgery's time. Was emailed back

"Thank you for your email, we have a print out of your imms waiting for collection at Reception."

Why not email this?? They have my email?? Why not think to reduce the number of patient contact during covid. Poor practice.

"You have also requested yr patient access account number and passcode, unfortunately we are unable to do this at this present time due to Covid"

I was amazed and furious the excuse was due to covid. Complete joke. I work for NHS and same system it takes 60 seconds to email this directly from the clinical system. I had to go in and ask and find out what part of covid stopped them form sending my details across via email there is a process in place in all GP surgeries to do this. Lady at reception said she cant do it all because of covid. I offered to show her still said was not authorised to do so, we need to call our IT department and people to do this and they are busy due to covid. This is a joke... and not true!!! You call NELCSU and request this they will laugh. This shows poor management. I also done consult for my son last friday and still no voice mail or call or message nothing.

She said other things are more important than my request due to covid everyting to her was covid. Feel sorry for her and other patients who will come across her will put in a formal complaint.

This is below the expectations I'm entitled to my own records, I offered to help and still was dismissed she did not even know the practice managers name and told me look online.

Please sort out! Within 28 days.
