(as the patient),

I came in for what i thought would be a routine colonoscopy but due to the severity of my condition i was kept in for 5 days.

it was all a bit of a shock as I didnt have anything with me and with the covid situation couldnt get anything in for the first 24 hours.

i have to applaud all of the staff on ward B32 for taking such good care of me, especially Jijo, Emma and Abbi. They settled me in to my room and made sure I had everything i needed but also making me feel reassured that everything would be fine.

They are a happy bunch who go about their very busy day with smiles on their faces and deserve recognition for everything they do especially during such difficult times as these.

I'd also like to say a huge thank you to the cleaners and canteen staff for keeping the place spotless and well fed. Your soups and mac and cheese are fantastic!

Many thanks for taking the time to get in touch and leaving such lovely and thoughtful feedback.

It must have been such a worry for you having to be admitted to hospital at such short notice, I am so pleased the staff looked after you so well, we really are fortunate in NHS Forth Valley to have such wonderful, kind and supportive staff. Being cared for in the way you were must have been such a relief for you at what I can only imagine was very stressful time.

I have shared your feedback with the team, including Jijo, Emma and Abbi, they were over the moon to hear such lovely comments, and pass on their thanks and best wishes.

I hope you are making a good recovery since your surprise stay and are keeping safe during these times.
