"Very Bad Practice"

About: Clover Group Practice (Darnall)

Took 15 Month to register with practice even with help to register. i went to practice and each time was given the paperwork to register, i stood outside to fill in this paperwork and was told to put this in the letterbox. they say they never got them.

Each time i call practice it takes 45 to 60 min for them to answer my call. I'm stuck in home due to medication being removed for my pain that was given to me by a specialist. ordering meds online, every time i try logon it says wrong password i spend 1 hour calling to reset only to get this problem again.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. I apologise that you feel you found it difficult to register with the practice. In the timeframe in question we registered nearly 4,000 new patients and the process is quite simple, so I am unsure why you had such difficulties over such an elongated period.

Currently due to the pandemic, the practice along with the wider NHS is seeing increased demand due to patients wishing to be seen with symptoms that they would normally treat themselves at home. This is amplified by the fact that we too have staff shielding, isolating and becoming ill. Therefore the phone wait time is at points longer than we would hope, so I apologise for any frustration this has caused.

I have looked at your record and can see why the GP’s have refused to prescribe you medications, however it would be improper to disclose this on an open forum. Therefore I suggest you write to the practice with your concerns so that I can answer specifically.
