I had the misfortune recently of undergoing a fairly upsetting operation. I am 67 years old and had to travel to Ninewells to be put under the surgery.  This was particularly heavy going given that Covid-19 was in full flight.

I had wounds as a product of the surgery and faced a long recovery in Dundee. With no visitors allowed. An alternative programme of after care was drawn up with the local wound clinic. This made the recovery a much easier exercise.

Much thanks to the wound team.
