"Reception staff show no professionalism or…"

Been with this surgery forever, from Westbury Court to Vicarage Field and now Harpour Road. I have never written a review but feel that the reception staff should practice what they preach. There are posters in the surgery stating that they don’t tolerate people being disrespectful to staff but it’s seems the staff are maybe unhappy or overworked as their phone manner and cooperation is diabolical and rude, however most of the GP’s do show empathy and treat the patients how they would Like to be treated themselves, with care and professionalism. Your reception staff are not a good advert for your surgery.

Dear Ms Plaskett, I apologise if the service with reception staff did not meet with your expectation. All staff are constantly reminded to treat all our patients with dignity and respect, and signpost them to alternative services if we are not able to provide an immediate response to some requests during these challenging times, if, for example, our appointments are fully booked.
