"Ultrasound reassurance scan"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Xrays and scans

(as the patient),

I had bleeding at 15 weeks and obviously was extremely alarmed by this and upset at the thought of what this could potentially mean. The triage staff at the RIE were lovely and in particular the Sonographer, Jamie. He was so reassuring from the very beginning. I felt in very safe hands and when all was confirmed to be well, he turned a bad situation into a positive experience and we left the room feeling very reassured. As a fellow HCP I’m keen to pass on praise when it’s due. Thank you xxx

Dear Anonymous2711,

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback with us via Care Opinion.

It was lovely to hear that the triage staff and Jamie in particular, were so reassuring and helpful for you at this difficult time.

Please be reassured that your feedback has been shared with the senior management team and I have asked them to make sure that Jamie and the triage team are aware of your lovely feedback.

With warm wishes,

Ann
