I received 12+ sessions for PTSD.
I felt my therapist involved and worked with me in the decisions about about my treatment.
I thought it was excellent how it panned out, with regards to discussing my story with the therapist, receiving information about PTSD, and going through the process of unpicking and re-visioning trauma. I now see it in a completely different light. I did involve my own processes on top of the treatment.
I have come away with a chart to identify my trigger points, and through the process and ongoing, I have acquired insight and techniques to dampen trauma and have it come to a resolution. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to work on their PTSD. Ideally, one might need a few more sessions to look at the whole issues, but I am very happy with the crucial and large amount of work we did do.
