"A not good enough practice"

About: Swallownest Health Centre

After a blood test with a practice nurse I was told to book an appointment with Dr the receptionist informed me there were none available and to phone the following week which I did after 40 mins on hold I was told there were no appointments and to call back next week I realise these are difficult times but this is poor service

Thank you for your comment.

This does depend if you are trying to book with a specific GP or any GP. Demand is currently very high.

We are currently extending the availability of some GP appointments to be bookable several weeks in advance. However we have been cautious to do this before as we did not know how the current situation (due to isolations or sickness) would affect our staffing levels day by day and obviously this is still on going.

We are trying our best to answer the increased volume of calls and workload in general and will continue to do so.

Thank you and stay safe.
