"Treated with no dignity"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

I came to the hospital with a broken ankle 3 weeks ago and admitted to a ward. I was told by the consultant I needed emergency surgery as my ankle is shattered and requires a metal plate and screws. I was discharged the following day and sent to fracture clinic. I have been told by the doctors and nurses on 5 occasions in the clinic and hospital i will be admitted and have a bed for my surgery. I was told by the ward manager i will get a bed this week. Insread i was offered day surgery at recovery on 4th floor, which never happened, then told to come back the next day, same again, no surgery and left from 8am ubtil 4pm offered a sanwich. Now I have been told to come back a third time, No care or concern has been shown for my condition at this hospital and i am being treated as a 2n class citizen.

I would like to have this emergency surgery without having to wait all day before i am told it is not going ahead. No one is letting me know when this will be and if it will definitely go ahead. I am getting sicker coming into the hospital every other day for promised surgery on my broken ankle. I am losing the will!
