"Horrible service "

I have to say Brighton and hove well-being centre is awful, if anything made me feel worse. Despite on the questionnaire my results coming back as severely depressed and severely anxious and me telling them how I can’t go anywhere or even meet my friends due to being depressed and having really bad anxiety and I was going through things that I need help dealing with, the only recommendation they gave me was a online self help sessions or group sessions, I chose online self help and the thought of sitting with a group of people sent my anxiety through the roof. The “therapist” I had was extremely patronising and rude, she made me feel like my feelings weren’t valid and they didn’t take me seriously, the online self help stuff was terrible and didn’t help me at all, I did try to do my best with it but it wasn’t helping at all, I got around 3 feedback comments which was useless. Because of the bad experience I have had with them I haven’t been able to find other well-being services because I fear that I’m not going to be taken seriously. It took a lot for me to express how I was feeling to begin with and to be treated like it’s nothing really knocked my confidence. It’s been around a year and I have only just built up the courage to start finding private therapists.... I Wouldn’t recommend Brighton and hove well-being service to anyone.
