"Good doctors, very poor admin staff"

About: Croydon University Hospital

My husband was the only one of many patients’ family members who was refused entry to the waiting room when accompanying me to A&E this evening. He did not want to leave me alone for the duration of my treatment and waited in the cold for 4 hours for me. Sadly I only saw the sign stating patients could be accompanied by ONE family member/carer in the waiting after receiving treatment.

I asked the admin staff member multiple times if he could sit with me as other patients had a family member with them and his only response was that only patients were allowed in the waiting room.

The medical treatment was good.
