"Poor Administration "

About: Barnet Hospital

I revived a letter asking me to attend an appointment at the breast clinic. I was advised that to change my appointment I should ring the telephone number for appointment noted at the top of the letter. I rang the number and was number 34 in the queue. 38 minutes later I spoke to someone in the call centre who advised that they do NOT make appointments for the Breast Clinic and that I would have to ring the hospital. I asked telephone number that could not help was written on the letter. The lady said she couldn’t explain it to me. I rang the breast clinic and there was no answer. I rang agin 4 times and there was no answer. I rang switchboard and asked if they could help. They finally someone to help me. She said it should be the appointment line I should be ringing but that she would help me ‘this time’.
