I had not wanted to be a burden on the NHS during the first lockdown but increasing pain in the hip made me book a telephone appointment with my GP. I was sent for an X-ray, referred to Musculoskeletal who then assessed me via telephone appointment and have put me on the list for a hip replacement. All this was done within a matter of two weeks and only had to leave my home once.

I also had a very productive telephone call with the pharmacist who prescribed a stronger pain killer and help from a young lady who chased my prescription, got a doctor to sign it and then rang me back to say it was ready.

So very impressed with all the team. Well done.
