I was recently privileged to be able to donate one of my kidneys to my son for transplant and we both received our post operative care on the Urology Ward at the Churchill. The standard of care was excellent and I would like to congratulate both the Surgical and nursing teams for their exceedingly high standards of professionalism, skill and compassion. This was our first experience of major key hole surgery and we have been amazed at how quickly our recovery has progressed since surgery having been discharged after just 3 and 4 nights respectively all thanks to the brilliant care we received.
