Please can I say a big thank you to the medical team (Dr. Ken, Isabella, Claire, Katrina, Atule, Ann (the Anaesthetists), Ann (the theatre nurse), etc.) of the Ophthalmology Department (Ward 1C) in Gartnavel General Hospital. 

I received an IOL last week, that was a very pleasant experience. The medical team was so caring and making me so easy to go through the journey despite my slight complex medical condition. 

There is, without a doubt, lots of pressure working in a hospital under the COVID situation; they are so professional. I applaud them.

Dear A pleasant patient

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent in the Ophthalmology Department in Gartnavel General Hospital.

It was nice to hear how all the staff were friendly, caring and most importantly took the time to reassure you during your visit.

Visiting hospital during these difficult times can be daunting so to hear you had such a pleasant experience was very humbling.

I will be delighted to pass on your comments to all the staff involved and thank you for remembering everyone's name.

This is very much appreciated by all the staff and I would like to wish you a speedy recovery.
