I can’t remember all the names because of all the painkillers but I had my baby at 11ish 13/11/2020. I was in from around 9ish hours before on ward 64. All the midwives, nurses, doctors and the students were the friendliest and warmest people I have met. Not once did I feel uneasy or scared. I was even rush down to theatre for a minor procedure and didn’t feel scared. I don’t think I have met a single person in my 36 hour stay that wasn’t lovely. I wish I could remember names to name all individually too. A big thank you to the kind wonderful staff and soon to be staff that looked after me and my baby. You made it all a lot easier and smoothly for me and my family

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS website regarding your care in the Maternity Services at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff.

The Trust has introduced a behavioural framework within which all members of our midwifery and medical teams provide care so it was reassuring to read that you found all medical and midwifery staff friendly, warm and caring and that your experience throughout the delivery of your baby has been a positive one.

I can assure you that we have passed on your feedback to Dr Clare Tower, Clinical Head of Division for Obstetrics, Ms Mary Hynes, Divisional Director for Obstetrics and Mrs Bev O’Connor, Head of Midwifery who will be delighted to share your feedback with the staff involved.
