"Good breast feeding support"

About: Adult Health Services / Breastfeeding Support service

(as a service user),

I was advised by my midwife of the NHS Lanarkshire infant feeding support team when my daughter was about 1 week old and had jaundice, so I was keen to make sure she was eating enough.

I called the team and had a visit that afternoon where I got some really good advice. My daughter has been feeding well since and at 4 weeks has followed her centile line for weight gain perfectly and jaundice has cleared up.

The team were great, easy to get hold of and still operating despite Lanarkshire lockdown restrictions. Thanks!

Dear Katnyps

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such positive feedback on the care opinion platform and congratulations on the birth of your baby daughter. I am delighted to read that you were put in touch with the infant feeding support team and that they were able to offer you support and guidance at what can be a stressful time for a new mum. It's great to hear that your daughter is thriving. Please be assured that I will share your lovely comments with the team.

Best wishes

Lesley
