About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d)

(as a service user),

I cannot. praise the orthopaedic team at QEUH highly enough. I was apprehensive prior to my surgery, but was kept informed every step of the way. From the pre-admission assessment team , to the staff in the same day admissions suite. my nurse was Emma,  who was very friendly and reassuring.  I also met with my surgeon Mr. Craig , who took time to explain things thoroughly. I would also like to thank the anaesthetics and theatre team. It is lovely to be told that you would be looked after and it really put me at ease. 

Finally.. a big thank you to charge nurse  Sweeney  In Ward 10A and her team of lovely nurses who ensured I was kept comfortable , took time to chat to me and ply me with cups of tea. I am really grateful for their care and attention .

Dear Teajenny2

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent with the Orthopaedic Team & Anaesthetics & Theatre Team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

I was delighted to read how both teams were quick to put you at ease and the staff were friendly and reassuring in the care they provided.

I can imagine this must have been a nervous time for you so it was nice to hear the staff took the time to explain everything thoroughly to you and you were made to feel comfortable before and after your surgery.

I will be happy to pass on your comments to all the staff involved especially Emma who I'm sure will be as touched as I was to read this.

I would like to wish you a speedy recovery and thanks again this means a lot to the staff involved.
