"Refused treatment"

About: General practices in Ayrshire & Arran University Hospital Ayr

(as a service user),

For nearly a year I have been told to email gpreturns and not received a reply. My data was breached by a surgery in ayr and had a clerk from nhs ayr affecting my treatment leaving me without a GP for a year and without prescriptions for 7 months. My msp has contacted the staff and clerks keep telling us incorrect information yet not assigning a gp.

A recent letter sent by a person at University Ayr Hospital who told nhs 24 and A and E that since May 2020 that I had 6 months supply of prescriptions. This is not true. They did not provide a solution or gp details but misled us all all. This useless letter states that I should email the gpreturns inbox, yet I have emailed not received a reply in over a year. NHS Ayr has 2 consultants who do not treat me, who have misled nhs 24 and A and E since May 2020 that I had 6 months supply of prescriptions when I do not and my last prescription was issued in April 2020. I feel my human rights have been breached by this refusal to give me as a patient access to treatment and life saving medication.

For 7 months MSPs, my own consultants and scottish government policy officials have contacted nhs Ayrshire but they aren't keeping us honestly informed as nobody is replying or allocating a gp from the gpreturns email and this person who is not my doctor should not have incorrectly told nhs 24 and A and E since May 2020 that I had 6 months supply of prescriptions they did not provide.

Dear Success20

I am sorry that you remain unhappy with our attempts to provide GP services with you. As per our previous letter, we would still like to extend an invitiation for you to get in touch to arrange a meeting with yourself and the appropriate manager to discuss your ongoing care needs.

Best Wishes

Laura
