"What amazing people "

I received my letter from Salisbury's Urology department explaining my when my appointment was and directions. Including asking me not to attend more than five minutes before my appointment time, which made perfect sense for safety reasons. On arrival I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Short wait and then greeted by the Urology team, asked to change and present myself when ready. Well we all know what its like the trepidation of having a procedure, starting with the gown of course, luckily they said wear two one for the front and one for the back, Phew what a relief :-) Once gowned, into Urology. Met by the whole team, couldn't have been made to feel more welcome or comfortable, lots of smiles and reassurance from the team. Explanation given of my procedure and what it would entail. Considering I'm a man, they did a wonderful job of easing my nerves and silly thoughts of embarrassment. (its a man thing) My procedure took a while, but the whole time the team were great explaining what was happening and what I needed to do, all delivered with highest levels of courtesy and professionalism, again a smile and a very caring attitude. Procedure completed, explanation on what would happen next, offered a shower, then off to get changed. Back to normality, I cannot thank the Urology team enough for their treatment of me, from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, wonderful people doing a wonder job, credit to them and the hospital.
