encourage people to share their experiences of health and social care, what matters to you, what you particularly liked or disliked so that we can share with the relevant department, and staff .

Thank you for posting your comment. I hope that you are feeling better.

I have read from the story summary that you had "amazing care " and you felt you were " in good hands" and "well looked after". That is reassuring to hear. Can you identify the ward you were in as there are a few general medical wards in Altnagelvin and it is important for the right ward and staff to receive feedback.

Under what could be improved I noticed that you put "the food."

I would like to hear a bit more about that so it can be shared with the catering manager. If you would like to get in touch to discuss further or post your comment

You can email me vi.gray@westerntrust.hscni.net or ring me on 02871345171 Ext 214486

Look forward to hearing from you

Best wishes

Vi Gray

Update posted by Rossy440 (the patient)

Hi it was ward 42, and I put the food because I had to put something negative. If given the choice I would have not mentioned this, the food was satisfactory, I was given a Sunday dinner witch was great I could not complain about that for super and breakfast I was given toast and tea I didn't ask if they had it but some cereal would of been nice maybe or a sandwich. This is the only negative I have to say and what I was given was more than adequate. I think it would be nice to have more variation for patients who are there for a longer period and maybe don't have anyone to visit the in building shop and cafe for them. Once again felt so looked after and would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who helped me on my short stay, so kind and I couldn't say enough good things.
