I was admitted to the ward for orthopaedic surgery. This new area is lovely and spacious and calm, just what you need for recovery.
The staff were all very helpful getting me through, what was for me, a very anxious time, from a kind word and chat before theatre to supporting me through it afterwards.
Theatre staff on Romola were also very kind
Allaying my fears and supporting me through the procedure.
I would to give a special mention to Thembi for her care, as a preceptor staff nurse she was exemplary, thoughtful, knowledgeable and has a lovely manner.
Also to the surgeon Mr Quorcopome who provided me with the understanding and care to get the knee replacement completed
I am now at home after being given the best care and attention Along with discharge advice
Well done to you all xx
