About: University Hospital Monklands / Endoscopy

(as a service user),

I have been attending Monklands endoscopy unit for the past 3yrs and most recently last week, and can’t praise this wonderful team enough.

From the moment you arrive till it’s time to leave they make you feel at ease and nothing is a bother. This time was different because of covid 19 as had to go to the main theatre which was a huge stress trigger for me as the last time I was in main theatre was to have surgery for colon cancer.

The staff were so reassuring and once in theatre and met by the wonderful humour from Robert I was at ease. Laura who did the procedure was amazing and explained everything.

Thank you all from the “bottom” of my heart, you make a stressful situation so so comfortable. We are blessed to have u all.
