"Amazing 5 * care for day surgery "

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I attended the gynae day ward for minor surgery today under general anaesthetic. I was very anxious but as soon as I arrived from the ward clerk, domestic, the auxiliary nurses, staff nurses , doctors and anaesthetists who were all so lovely I felt so more at ease.

All staff showed such care & empathy.

Being a nurse myself I am aware how hard and busy it can be but they all just worked so well as a team.

I am home and very comfortable.

I didnt see a doctor post op but was happy to have a letter sent home as was ready to leave.

I honestly would have paid for care so good if I had to go private for anything like that.

Well done all the staff who looked after me. You do a superb job even in these hard time. Thankyou x
