"My treatment was second to none"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was nervous and apprehensive as my previous appointment with my own GP had been painful, and had made me worry about my referral.

My treatment by the SN on duty, SN Wicks, was second to none. She was very personable, professional, and treated me with the utmost respect. I was put at ease at a time, when lets be honest, it is not the most enjoyable of experiences.

She should be congratulated and recognised for her duty of care. I hope her line managers pass on to her my comments.

We understand how coming into hospital can be such a anxious and worrying time for our patients, so we are pleased to hear that you had such as positive experience and that Staff Nurse Wicks was able to put you at your ease.
