Cardiac specialist having written that he thought I had 'memory loss', at my request my GP kindly gave me a short dementia test. I got 30 out of 30 marks for it. The GP could see my worry and distress and treated me with understanding and kindness, carefully explaining all that the specialist had written. I have known this GP for at least 20 years and am grateful to him.
He is friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, listens carefully, thinks hard about everything we ask him, always sees us within two days of our asking and never forgets anything.
