I was admitted to the “Stafford Hilton” on Monday October 5th for surgery to remove parts of a ruptured disc from my spine.
My surgeon requested a scan. Following the results of the scan he agreed to conduct surgery. His secretary was extremely helpful and efficient throughout my dealings with my surgeon.
I was admitted to “The Stafford Hilton” 05.10.20. This was very smooth from entering the hospital and going through Covid procedures at reception, then on to Stafford ward where I was welcomed by a Nurse with whom I had most dealings during my stay, he was brilliant!
Every person I dealt with was excellent from several members of the kitchen staff (my food was excellent except for the bread that I found to be far too “doughy”), several nurses/nurse assistants, cleaners, a physio, the ward doctor, the urologist and even the porters who wheeled me out for a scan to the imaging centre, staff (3 of them) were also excellent. Thank you all so much for making my stay so easy and for keeping me informed all the time. I found it particularly helpful that I received a full explanation for every procedure that was required and how it would be carried out. I was treated with respect and dignity throughout my stay and every person I met was friendly.
Thank you all so very much.
"Excellent all round performance!"
