Have lived a road away from this GP surgery for 2 years, so obviously have been registered with them. I had my first smear test in 2019 and was not informed until a year later in 2020 that I had HPV cells found in my initial smear (no letter was sent to my address and there was no further communication on the matter). The only way I found out was as I received a text advising me I needed my 'first smear' in error in 2020, which I called up to confirm about, having had my first smear test when turning 25 in 2019. I then called complaining about mild tenderness in my breasts and given it is breast cancer awareness month, asked for a routine check up. The nurse was extremely blunt with a poor bedside manner when telling me "there is a lump. you will be referred." After waiting anxiously for over a week to go to my breast clinic referral, the doctor at the referral hospital was quick to confirm that there is NO LUMP and that what the nurse in fact felt was my rib cage... Truly shocking levels of medical professionalism and bedside manner from both the medical staff and administrative team. So glad I am moving or else I would be moving GP practices in any case. Would not recommend.
"Terrible service and rude staff"
