"Outstanding care when in Agony"

About: University Hospital Lewisham

Yesterday I experienced the worst Agony & Pain ever and Lewisham UCC were outstanding.

I did not want to attend hospital for something as basic as pain management, especially in the current situation but was forced to after my GP at Hassengate Medical centre refused to treat me.

I attended with acute facial and eye socket pain which had escalated from a dental infection that had been fully treated to the maximum by my dentist, but required pain management beyond the dentist capabilities.

The senior ENP on duty and ED consultant were amazing the were compassionate, professional and simply outstanding in every aspect of care.

They changed and tailored my pain management to my specific needs (none of which involved controlled drugs I should add) and within hours of treatment my pain had subsided and was under control.

I can not ever thank all of the staff there enough!
