I felt compelled to write my experiences with Joanne on here to formally recognise the role she has played in helping me to recover. 

This wonderful lady has been very instrumental in her professionalism and experience and personality in helping me overnight and this morning when taking bloods required when I was in a terrible state of anxiety and distress.

Her care and compassion for the pain and distress I was in was so appreciated and I felt it was key that whomever needs to should know and recognise her professional work but more so her genuine kindness towards patients who are not in the “best place” as one might put it. 

Her calm manner and determination to get the blood needed to help me was very much appreciated and her coming in today to the same as my veins are so battered and managing is nothing short of a tribute to her knowledge and skill set and the team she must belong to.

She is categorically someone of high professional standards and represents her role with dignity and good humour and with the patient at the forefront of all she does.
