"Awful service "

About: The Aldergate Med. Pract.

I rang twice this week following having a miscarriage the previous week I was only after some advice but both times I rang both receptionist told me to go to ane which I knew I didn’t need to go to I only wanted some advice, after having a miscarriage and it being such a traumatic time you think they would be more caring and understanding. I then rang the early pregnancy unit but they needed a referral to see me & said my doctor should not refuse to see me so I rang them back and yes they refused to see me. It was a harrowing time as I was only after advice and was very upsetting for me. I then decided to ring 111 and after speaking to 3 people from 111 including a clinician and a doctor they all said my doctors are a disgrace and should never have fobbed me of to ane when it’s not an ane matter! The clinician and doctor from 111 were extremely helpful and gave me all the advice I needed. I have to book an appointment to see a doctor next week which I’m not holding out much hope for, even tho the 111 doctor said they shouldn’t be fobbing this situation of. I am extremely unhappy with the service I had received.

The doctors at this practice are amazing cannot fault them, it’s the receptionists who are the downfall to this practice. I work in the health care profession and I would never be how they were I would do my up most to help!
