Was referred to Ayr Hospital eye clinic by optician who had noticed what they described as a "large gouge out of my eye" and they felt an ophthalmologist would be best to deal with it. The staff and doctors at Ayr Hospital were extremely helpful, put my mind at rest about my eyesight and treated my injury with the appropriate medication and timely follow up appointments. My eye is now fully healed after 4 weeks.
