"Excellent care"

Unfortunately I required a full hysterectomy with removal of ovaries etc. Due to have large fibroid I required an abdominal hysterectomy. My consultant was  Dr Konamme. I would like to share my positive experience.

The care I received from team was excellent. The theatre team was so kind and reassuring. I required a spinal as well as a general anaesthetic. The anaesthetist explained everything well and was so reassuring.  The theatre nurses were funny and very reassuring. 

The ward staff were friendly, attentive, caring and professional.  I required hourly obs as had a spinal and had a PCA in situ. I was informed to use buzzer is required anything. I had to buzz on a few occasions and was never mind to feel like a burden. They tried to always ensure my pain was kept under control. Unfortunately the night I hoped to go home I had to stay as my BP was raised. The staff were so reassuring. 

I am now thankfully home recovery. I would like you to pass on my gratitude to Dr Konamme, the theatre staff, nursing staff who looked after me as they were fantastic. The domestic who brought me lots of coffee. Keep up the fantastic work.
