"Liason Psychiatry at Charing Cross."

About: West London NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I’ve just received the most insulting discharge letter from this “team” who supposedly “help” patients in crisis.

It’s evident from my experience that this team have absolutely no idea of what their patients need or have requested, and write these letters just to fill gaps in the system.

The whole letter is full of things that are not true. It’s stated many miscommunicated points and taken from myself, a patient in a disorientated, drunk and high state on multiple medications. How can you take this as solid truth? Why have you not tried to contact me first before producing this document to ensure all is truthful just to meet your SLA targets?

I never had faith in NHS mental health services. And I certainly don’t have any faith restored now.

I feel that the response from the service is  why I overdosed twice in one day. Because your service is so un-genuine, so unforgiving and so not bothered about your patients mental state.

Your colleague sat there and wouldn’t listen to what I had to say for myself, they put words into my mouth and put the answers on this letter I’ve received to simply meet criteria and show they have done their job and finished a menial task on a list.

I’m so horrified and shocked at this level of care, which is your duty to your patients in crisis.
