I attended Springburn Health Centre back in November 2019 due to suffering with anxiety and depression due to family problems. I was seen by Dr Harris in Dr Milburn and partners practice and I felt worried as I have come across bad press around mental health services in Scotland. I was in that much of a state, I could barely speak to explain how I was feeling. Dr Harris was so patient and understanding. At one point, I was feeling that low I didn't want to live anymore and I told Dr Harris about these thoughts.

She seen me weekly and then every fortnight for 3 months and I would go as far as to say she saved my life. She did not just give me tablets and turn me away, she showed me so much kindness and compassion and I will be forever grateful. I am now eventually out the other end and have managed to come off antidepressants after being on them almost 3 years. I felt as if Dr Harris truly cared about my mental wellbeing and she played a big part in helping me get well again. I will never forget the kindness she showed me. She is an absolute credit to the practice and the NHS.

Dear Leigh19

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to the time you spent being seen by Dr Harris at Dr Milburn and Partners Practice.

I can only imagine the terrible suffering you would have been going through to cope with such events in your life and the pressures in which that can bring.

I'm was delighted to read how Dr Harris was able to provide a much needed listening ear and showed such kindness and compassion which made you hold her in such high regard.

I'm sure she will be as touched as me to read these comments and I will be happy to pass these onto her at the Practice.

I'm glad you feel better and have come out the other end with a positive outlook on life.

Thank you so much for your comments this means a lot to the staff involved.
