Recovery and rehabilitation from a serious compound ankle fracture has been further complicated by two very painful inguinal hernias, making mobility, including travelling by normal car, very difficult and even more painful.
Thankfully, I was able to arrange transport to and from hospital with NIAS Patient Transport Service.
Both drivers (different for each journey) were prompt, helpful, friendly and careful, meaning journeys were as comfortable and unhurried as possible. Dealing with the switchboard was also efficient, when I was ready for my return journey.
Both vehicles were also very clean and tidy.
Thank you to all concerned.
