"Unhelpful staff"

About: Inverclyde Royal Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

Ive been referred for an endoscopy colonoscopy and nuclear medicine

I called yesterday and spoke to the coordinator who told me I was now on the list. 

I asked them for an estimated time for an appt. 

As I'm in London just now I wanted to be sure not to miss it and I'm extraordinarily apprehensive about the procedures  anyway.

This person barked to the effect of:

"I don't know.    I've just come back from holiday and I'm on my own here   You'll get a letter" 

I just told this person to cancel everything 

I've really had it with the receptionists and coordinators here at this hospital who have shown themselves to be the most uncaring unhelpful bunch! 

These people have to realise that they are dealing with people's lives here.

The Doctor who I spoke to last week was really lovely. 

And I sincerely apologise to him for his wasted time.

My Family is trying to get the funds together now to get me the endoscopy done privately so I can get a diagnosis.
