"Independence"

About: Community Therapy Services / Rushcliffe Community Therapy

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had a fall and fractured my wrist and was struggling in the shower but the girls came in and they helped me feel safe again, we always had a laugh and a joke and they helped me to be able to shower and get dressed independently. I really didn't want them to stop coming they were all lovely.

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to see that our Community Support workers helped you regain independence while making you laugh too. We always feel sad when we stop seeing people, but it is a good sign as it means you no longer need us and have achieved your goals.
