"Amazing Staff"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Last month I had half of my thyroid gland removed along with a benign tumour that had grown. The entire process was extremely daunting for me as I had a huge fear of hospital and surgery however every single member of staff looking after me were very comforting and made the experience as stress free and relaxing as possible. I felt safe and secure which allowed me to remain positive through the whole experience. I cannot say one bad thing about the time I spend in the hospital, and I thank everyone who has helped me while I’ve had this issue.
