About: Scarborough General Hospital

My Mother fell and broke her hip whilst we were in holiday, and was admitted to Scarborough Hospital.

She was assessed and admitted quickly, and received her surgery within 36 hours. She was then admitted to Holly Ward to recover.

She was made as comfortable as was possible in the circumstances, and was very happy and appreciative of the care she received from the ward staff and the physiotherapy department.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us. Firstly, I'm sorry to hear this happened to your Mother and I hope she is making a speedy recovery. Secondly, it's so great to hear that she was seen so promptly for surgery and that then followed with great care and comfort from the Holly Ward and physio staff. I hope, should your mother ever need our services again, that we provide the same great service she received on the occasion. Sending her lots of well wishes.
