I have just been discharged after a total knee replacement at Fulwood Hall. There was a considerable delay in this treatment due to Covid.
I am aware I cannot name any person but I can only offer my profound thanks to everyone that was involved in my treatment. Their patience, sheer professionalism and good humour were a joy to experience. I cannot find anything to criticise. They seemed to have all the time in the world to make the patient at ease and explain everything if it was needed.
My room was clean, neat and tidy and, considering I was in a hospital, I would say the food I experienced was of hotel quality with the small amounts I took. The sandwiches were especially well filled.
It became normal to refer to the staff by Christian names such was the friendliness and my thanks is heartfelt.
The impression I got was of a swan swimming along serenely, all the action is occurring below the water line where it cannot be seen.
Dear reader, you have probably got the message that I am impressed. Thank you.
"An amazing experience. "
