"Supurb Treatment"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

I was taken by ambulance to the N & N having a heart attack in the small hours of the morning. I was rapidly assesed in the A & E dept and then taken to have an angioplasty which was performed quickly and professionally. From there I was transferred to the CCU who monitered me to check I was OK before moving me to the ward for a 48 hour stay to continue to check I was OK. Throughout I was looked after very well by staff who were more than happy to explain what they were doing and why. The whole critical period of diagnosis and treatment was done in about 5 Hours from contacting the ambulance service and ending in CCU. The rest of the stay was also fine with all the staff I dealt with being professional and as helpful as they could be. I have no qualms at all in giving them all 20 out of 10 for my care. It looks as well that that treatment will continue with a period of remote care at home before an outpatient appointment in some 3 months or so. As I now live alone this experience has also made me feel that living out in the sticks is not a barrier to urgent care when needed which is a great confidence booster. Thank you N & N.
