My mother has an icd and twice her appointment has now been moved. She has not been seen at clinic now for a year and has now been informed that it will be another year before being seen. She had a cardiac arrest at home before her icd was put in and has been told she has heart failure. She has always been told she needs regular follow ups at clinics because of this so how can it all be OK she now has to waits 2 years to be seen. I phoned the clinic to be reassured that it was all fine . But how can you tell if she has had not had her regular follow-up appointments done ... worried family
