"Pontefract Hospital UTC. Brilliant xxx"

I had to attend with a suspected broken thumb. I know this doesn’t sound too serious but it’s on the only hand I can use and I was lost without it. The staff were amusing and we had a good laugh at my expense! A few x-rays and a fresh dressing later and more banter about me being a wuss and I was sent on my merry way with some antibiotics for the infection. I always choose Pontefract hospital when given the choice and will continue doing so as I think they are all brilliant there.
