"Non-existent care"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

Due to the Covid pandemic it is understandable that consultations may have to take place over the phone, however this means that the Doctor needs to listen to the patient more than ever.

I was referred to this dept but it seems the full "picture" of me was not passed on so the Doctor thought I needed help with only facial pain.

The resulting letter to the GP is a write off of me with a prescribed drug that will definitely impede my ability to care for my 17 year old Son (awaiting an assessment for ASD) besides other reasons I don't want to take it.

However he did prescribe Acupuncture for which I have not received one letter offering me an appointment, but have received six letters cancelling appointments for Acupuncture sessions??!

Clearly something not right with admin in this dept.

I cannot fathom why it is not understood that Chronic Pain ruins a life and not taken seriously.
