Had a bit of a frustrating start to my journey with the Women’s Health / Gynaecology Department because my first (unsuccessful) procedure wasn’t followed up with the consultant as promised. Using the great PALS service, I chased this up a month later and was given an appointment very quickly. I saw sister Palmer for the second procedure and consultation, I’d like to thank her for taking the time to review what had happened (and not happened) previously, for discussing my options carefully and most of all for treating me like an intelligent human being! Staff nurses Rachel and Fola and HCSW Val also took great care of me throughout today’s procedure and treated me with dignity and compassion

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us feedback following your recent visit to the gynaecology outpatient department at Pilgrim Hospital. We always strive to deliver an excellent patient experience and I sincerely apologise to you, for finding your initial experience within the Women's Health service frustrating. We are committed to ensure we listen to patient feedback in order to continually improve our standards. I was so pleased to hear Sr Palmer and her team took great care of you, taking the time to discuss all options available and showing you dignity and compassion during the procedure. I will ensure your lovely comments are shared with the whole team and in particular with those you have taken the time to name personally. Wishing you well.
