"Not Happy!"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

I had a Cystoscopy Urethrotomy and a Transperineal Biopsy operation and i was also fitted with a Catheter on the 28/10/2020 on Monday morning..the operation went well and without any problems said the surgeon and they will be contacting me in a weeks time to remove the Catheter..unfortunately nobody contacted me to to have this removed!..since Thursday the 1st of October i have been ringing the hospital and nobody seems to know anything regarding me coming in..today is Tuesday the 6th of October and after many times ringing extension today, someone finally got back to me to explain that the doctors have totally forgotten to ring me with an appointment to come back in to remove the catheter..If I'm totally honest I'm disappointed and very angry at their incompetence..I now have to go another week with this catheter in me that has been unpleasant, bleeding, and very uncomfortable.

This experience has let down the Urology team that has done a great job looking after me on the day, but can't help but being very angry and let down in the end..i know the hospital has been stretched because of the pandemic but this cock-up does not help us have much confidence in doctors.
