"Absolutely appauling care in NICU - still not…"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

Its been over 2 year now since our twins were born here, both premature, 2 weeks apart, after 10 days our first boy died due to his arrival at 23 weeks, our second boy is now a thriving and perfect 2 year old, but we do not forget the trauma we went through here, we found this NICU to lack care and attention and it was and is very unorganised, when our second boy finally moved to Homerton, he thrived, he really struggled at Evelina (Guys/St Thomas’s), the head of nursing was so rude and should not of been employed in that role, her lack of sympathy and understanding was unforgivable, she even had the nerve to involve a security officer in a meeting we had because they were concerned we weren’t respecting the nurses because we complained about them, evens after we had lost our son, we put in a major complaint at the time but still can’t bring ourselves to read the last email we received from the complaints team, due to the trauma this manager and some of the medical and nursing staff put us through, I still shudder at the thought of this place, such bad memories of such a bad time, when we are ready we will pursue our complaint, but please think twice about giving birth here, I spoke to many other mums who were also having a really hard time there, this was not the case at other equivalent NICUs within London
