"Very efficient & person friendly"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

I fell in the street  at the weekend and an ambulance was called. They had trouble locating me due the area where the fall happened but the paramedics came quite quickly and the 2 paramedics and a trainee did everything they were supposed to do and then advised I go to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to be checked out.

At the Minor injury clinic I was given good care and attention. I was first seen by a health care assistant who made me comfortable on the bed and the the nurse practitioner Elaine was excellent, very efficient and she was clearly a people person.

Overall I was very impressed.

Dear rgpie38

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am sorry to hear that you suffered a fall in the street. I hope that you are feeling better and are on the road to a full recovery?

I am however pleased to read that our crew did everything they were supposed to and treated you with care. If you would like I can arrange for your comments to be passed to the management team to be shared with the crew. In order to locate the crew I would need the time and date and rough area that the vehicle attended you. You can email these details to scotamb.feedback@nhs.net. I would also be very grateful if you could make reference to your careopinion username so that other members of the team can easily link your email to this post.

I wish you all the very best and thanks again for your post!

Alan
