(as the patient),

Heart attack whilst staying at Trossoch’s caravan park. Thanks to all staff including the brilliant paramedics Sarah and Amy, and Emergency /acute assessment ward staff I have made a very quick and healthy recovery. Also a big thanks to Dr Shearer and colleagues for a thorough diagnosis. I will not forget their care and attention to detail in all they did for me.

Dear Howdo

I'm delighted to hear that you've made such a good recovery after your heart attack. I imagine this turn of events must've been particularly stressful if you were staying away from home and it's great to hear how well you were treated by the paramedics before they brought you here to us in Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

I'll make sure to pass on your thanks to all our staff including Dr Shearer and the team in Cardioligy. They'll be really pleased to hear how well you are doing and thrilled to get this lovely note of thanks.

I hope your recovery continues to progress and that you get the chance to enjoy the Trossachs again sometime soon!

With best wishes

Catherine

Dear Howdo,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am sorry to read that you suffered a heart attack whilst in the Trossachs caravan park. That must have been terrifying.

I am however really pleased to read about your positive outcome and the care that Amy and Sarah afforded you. It is clear they made quite the impression.

I would really like to locate Amy and Sarah and pass on your comments. In order to do this I would need the date, time and address of the incident. (I am not sure if there is more than one Trossachs Caravan Park and am not allowed to ask on public forum if it is the one I am thinking of as it may identify the incident). I would also require your name. If you would like for this to happen would you be able to send me the details by email to scotamb.feedback@nhs.net please? I would also be very grateful if you could make reference to your careopinion username so other member of the team can easily link your email to this post.

I would like to wish you all the very best in your continued recovery and thanks again!

Kind Regards

Alan
